Tips on Getting Your Boyfriend to Propose
By: Emily Garmona
Are you certain that you have now found the right man for you? Do you really see your boyfriend as the best husband you can possibly have? Well if you feel that you are ready to take the next step in your relationship and you are more than ready to build your own family with this special someone, then you might want to help ease up the process of making him pop that question. Although it might seem like uniquely interesting to do the proposal your way, nothing beats still following the old style and letting the man initiate the gesture.

However, for many different reasons, guys may find themselves in a rut on popping the question. It's never an easy decision to make on their part because they would want to figure out as much as possible that they will get a yes for an answer. Imagine how it would feel like for them if the love of their life would say no to their proposal. You might not know it, but your guy might be toying with the idea for a long time already. It's just that he does not have a clue if it's already the right time to ask you or how is he going to do it. So the best thing you can do is help him out, and here are some of the best ways you can do just that:

1. Let him know that you are ready to enter into a lifetime commitment - Initiate talks of getting married. You don't have to say it pointedly, you can begin by starting conversations involving kids or your very own families until the topic eventually ends up about both of you together building your own family. Throughout the conversation you just might be able to unknowingly drop hints for him how much you would already want to enter into a lifetime commitment with him. It's also good to talk about having kids because this will give him an idea when you want it and if it is something that you think will make a great family life.

2. Be the one to create the right mood and opportunity for him to do so - Invite him for a romantic dinner or a special getaway wherein both of you can just focus on each other and your relationship. Do it someplace where he is most comfortable with and it would even be best if you can take him to a place that has a very romantic sentimental value for the both of you. You never know what a romantic ambiance can inspire him to do. Then it would also help if you can recount special moments you have together that would help make him realize just how deep your relationship have already been.

3. Spend more time with happily married couples who are your friends - Exposing him to the wonderful joys of a married life might just inspire him to take the next step. This is why you should always keep in touch with your friends who are currently in a happy and committed relationship. You can do so by attending birthdays, even kiddie parties of their kids for a change.

Getting your boyfriend to propose can be easy and subtle. Just make sure you don't get too straightforward or obvious about it!
