Some of the signals you get from your ex will be intentional and meant for you to see, while some will be a lot more subtle. The best thing to do is put aside wishful thinking and really concentrate on the words, behaviors, and signals your ex boyfriend might be throwing off without even knowing it. The following signs are all good indicators that your ex boyfriend is probably missing you or thinking about rekindling your romantic relationship:

* Staying in Contact With You - Any time your ex is still contacting you it's always a good sign he may want you back. Phone calls, emails, text messages... it doesn't matter how he's doing it. If he'd moved on by now, you wouldn't be getting any contact at all.

* Talking about The Past - As time passes after your break up, all the fights and arguments fall slowly fade from memory. What's left is the good times, and if your ex is even casually bringing them up to you, chances are he's thinking about those good times a lot more than he's letting on. Talking with you about your past relationship is a good indicator he's still not fully over you as a girlfriend, which in time, could make him want you back.

* Speaking Openly About His Current Situation - After the end of your relationship the two of you were both free to see other people. But if your ex hasn't yet found someone, he's still going to be open about what he's currently doing. He does this to let you know that HE isn't dating anyone... so you shouldn't either. This isn't what he's saying of course, but it's exactly the vibe this type of behavior is giving off.

* He Asks About Your Own Lovelife - No ex boyfriend wants to hear that his recently ex girlfriend is now dating. And if she is, he wants to know it's with someone lesser than him in every aspect. This is typical male ego, and it's a sure sign he's still thinking about you on a romantic level. If he keeps on asking about your dating situation, it could be one of the signs your ex boyfriend wants you back.

* He's Overly Nice to You - Is your ex suddenly a lot more friendly toward you than he ever was when you were dating? If so, it's a safe bet he's trying to impress you. These are the types of behaviors a man exhibits when he first starts courting a woman, which may be a good indication that he's about to start courting you all over again.

* He Asks You Out With His Friends - After breaking up with you, your ex boyfriend will probably feel a little bit weird about asking you out again - even if he's ready to. To overcome the awkwardness of the situation, he may try to set up a group date. Asking you to come out with his friends is an easy way of getting to spend time with you, but without all the heaviness of an immediate reconciliation talk. He's probably trying to ease back into the relationship... and if you're trying to get your ex boyfriend back, that should be fine by you.
