CIBC Run for the Cure is one of the biggest fundraiser events taking place in Canada. Thousands of Canadians participate in Run for the Cure in 56 communities across Canada. Reasons for participating in Run for the Cure varies from person to person, but through participation there is a common goal of creating a breast cancer free future.
Taking place on October 4, 2009, CIBC Run for the Cure will be hosting it's eighteenth year for the run. CIBC has 6000 volunteers to make this year an even bigger success than Run for the Cure 2008. In 2008 there were 13000 participants and $3 million raised.
