
Michaelle Jean our Governor General of Canada takes the lead in influencing young teens in our community. She chooses to spend great lengths of time creating seminars, and programs to simply make the world a better place. In order to make sure all voices are being heard she works very hard to build strong relationships with young people across the country. Michaelle Jean encourages all generations to challenge themselves in the adventures that life may bring. Michaelle illustrates these characteristics in seven various ways : her approach, youth dialogues, Urban Arts Forums, Order of Canada Mentorship,Internationally,the Citizen Voices and Youth Standard Bearers.
Each time that Michaelle Jean officially visits the provinces and territories within Canada she made the effort of consulting a young Canadian as part of her
approach to youth. In meeting with a young Canadian our Governor General could be more relevant to younger generation. It was from these meetings that she was able to come up with better programs to empower Canadian Youth. At the same time Michaelle had an opportunity to reelect her values and transform the institution she represents.

Michaelle then came up with the
Youth Dialogue program.The dialogues provide a voice for young Canadians to debate current affairs. Hundreds of people participate in a discussion with the Governor General during these seminars. Numbers reached nearly 300 people during the first ever Youth Dialogue including university students, community leaders, and senators.This was the very first student forum for the abolition of slavery and anti-Racism held by a Canadian Governor General.
