Ever Wanted a practical hairstyle that works for every occasion. This Summer hairstyle inspired by Jessica Simpson might just be the one. I use this particular style quite frequently myself and can personally say it works. Whether its a date in the evening, or a whole day in the office this cute yet simple hairstyle is appropriate for a number of occasions.

1) Wash the hair with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. It is also a good idea if you have curly or wavy hair to use a straightening shampoo and conditioner. (try dangerously straight herbal essences $3 CAD at local drugstore.

-Trying to achieve that Jessica Simpson Shine? After you have washed while the hair is still wet, gently towel dry and put an anti frizz product in your hair.(Try Got2B Dazzling Shine Spray $6.49 CAD at your local drugstore)

-Blow dry your hair while brushing. You may need to add a few more sprays of your anti-frizz product preferably the Got2B Dazzling shine spray, be careful not to add too much or you will create a greasy look too the hair.

2)Run a 2 inch Curling Iron through two to three inch sections of the hair. Curl the bottoms. When you have finished part the hair slightly off center.(left or right. Either will work.)Part the hair with a comb diagonally from you off center part to the side of your ear, Put the remainder of the hair in a pony tail. Now sweep the remainder hair past you ear, and wrap the hair around the ponytail. Bobby pin the left hair behind the ponytail.

3)Remember to have fun and add character to everything you do!
-to add a little flavour or fun, put some sparkles in the hair. (sparkle hairspray can be fun) also a flower on the side of ponytail could be a cute look. Have fun!
